William Oliver & Rodman Russell Ltd (WORR), an award winning Fabrication and Welding business based in North Shields, are delighted to be taking on a further apprentice. Sarah Griffiths (19, from Blyth) will undertake her apprenticeship in Fabrication & Welding. Her training will commence in September 2018 and incorporate a day release programme with Tyne North Training, studying one day a week at their college on the Coast Road whilst
Over 25 members of the Chamber visited the North Shields Marina http://www.quaymarinas.com/our-marinas/royal-quays/ at the Royal Quays to find out more about how the marina (including the boatyard) works. The event included a full tour of the marina including visits to the control tower, the pontoons and the newly upgraded facilities for visitors, with members hearing about how over 300 boats berthed at the marina use the facilities, how visiting boats
