HND students from the Creative Studios based at the Queen Alexander Campus have chosen North Shields to display their works with the exhibition free to attend and being held in the Beacon Centre in North Shields between the 28th of February and 27th of March. The exhibition is designed to showcase the work of HND students with the content of the exhibition changed on the 14th of March in order to allow further work to be exhibited and is a further example of a local educational establishment using North Shields to engage with the community. Town centre manager John Feet stated ‘the exhibition has required real co operation between the College, the Chamber of Trade & Commerce, the Beacon Centre and the Council and we welcome the opportunity to create an attractive showcase to display the student’s talent to the wider community’.
