Over 25 members of the Chamber visited the North Shields Marina http://www.quaymarinas.com/our-marinas/royal-quays/ at the Royal Quays to find out more about how the marina (including the boatyard) works. The event included a full tour of the marina including visits to the control tower, the pontoons and the newly upgraded facilities for visitors, with members hearing about how over 300 boats berthed at the marina use the facilities, how visiting boats

A group of members met yesterday in Northumberland Square to launch this campaign.  Look out for positive stories about North Shields in future editions of the News Guardian. On Thursday the 14th of June, members and supporters of the Chamber are spending the day at Percy Main Primary School.  They will give presentations to the children about what they do, with a view to expanding the awareness of the children of the world of work and job possibilities.
