Soccer 6’s are looking to start a business 5 a side football league, which would be hosted at the refurbished Evolution Football Centre at the Royal Quays in North Shields. Games are 40 minutes long on 3G turf, with trophies for winners and man of the match awards of food and drink in the Evo Bar.       Following the retirement of the Town Crier, the Chamber donated the Crier’s uniform to the North Shields Customer First Centre. Here it is on display in the Library, with Peter Ellis and Victoria Douglass, Team Leaders with NTC Cultural Services.
